Review: "The Blob" (1988)- written October 13, 2011

One thing I can say for sure about this movie is that is is much more entertaining than the original 1958 one, though less realistic. Thing is, this remake acts somewhat like a sequel to the original. I didn't like a feature added to the blob which were the tentacles that made it less of a blob. Though it was pretty good to see another movie with Shawnee Smith in it. Overall, I liked it.Pretty good movie, horrible review.

Review: "The Woman"(2011)- written October 10, 2011

Um..so, The Woman. Not the movie I thought it would be. I can't say it's great but it definitely is interesting and strange. Not a feel good movie, bloody and a bit of a "Girl With The Dragon Tattoo" sort of feel to it. The events leading up to the end add a bunch of tension and shock that Change the movie. It isn't an entertaining, awesome horror movie, but rather a creepy, thought disturbing one. It wasn't really fun to watch, but the ending was good.

Review: "The Blair Witch Project" (1999)- writen September 30, 2011

Over the years as a horror film fan and not, I have always heard of this 'Classic'. It is a movie so well known that hearing about it is eventually going to happen. I've only heard great things about this movie, and now I finally got to see it. I didn't like it, I felt like it wasted time. There is little excitement and when there is it soon followed by a legnthly day scene, afterwards a creepy(ish)night scene that is very short. This sequence is repeated several times and does not make it fun to watch. The day scenes are usually fights and more fights between the three main characters. It simply drags on too long with little moments of intrigue in between. Then there is the ending. An ending that ends in confusion. I don't know what happened, I don't know what will happen. It ends with you wondering why you watched the film up 'til this point. There is nothing. Complete dissatisfaction, not a movie for my taste.

Review: "Dog Soldiers" (2002)- written September 26, 2011

Now, I can say that for the first half hour or so that I didn't think much of the movie. I was set up for disappointment. However, I ended up quite liking the movie. I admit, I do like it better than I will review it. The story was actually pretty decent, more so after the first bit. You can probably guess what's coming, as always in these kind of movies. It does have some humor in it, including a great joke in a time not really for laughter. The gore was surprisingly..visceral and strong in some places. You do see an animal that most people like get killed early on but you don't need to worry when you see the second one. Swearing is abundant, a lot of it Scottish/English terms. "Dog Soldiers" is a pretty good 'bad movie', but in my mind it's a great 'bad movie'.

Review: "Scooby-Doo and the Legend of the Phantosaur" (2011)- written September 8, 2011

Now I suppose it is strange to be writting a review of a childrens movie on this blog but I Love Scooby-Doo, but really, I watched it and it was the best Scooby-Doo movie since (for me personally) the Cyber Chase. The animation is beautiful and the jokes were so funny it had me laughing. For a Scooby-Doo veteran like myself, it wasn't hard at all to 'figure out the mystery' and who was behind it but that was no deterent for how good a movie it was. New, fresh, and surprisingly good, I recommend giving it a watch.

Review: "Grave Encounters" (2011)- written September 8, 2011

So, "Grave Encounters" is a pretty good movie. This group of people are making a tv show called Grave Encounters, a really, extremely, cheesy, I'm not gonna watch this, sort of show. Now this is one of those movies that claims to be 100% real and has no special effects. There is even an introduction by a producer saying this. There is a lot of set up of the show they are making which takes up the first chunk of the movie, but the pace quickens once they get locked inside the haunted building. Now this movie is just a great scary movie. Reminding me of Paranormal activity, only kind of better. Horror and tension is maintained throughout once things pick up(and hair). It is a terrific movie, fair to say that it does have disturbing content. Along this frightening journey with the television crew, you will experience fear just like they do.

Review: "Final Destination 5" (2011)- written August 16, 2011

Well, it definitely is a good movie. The gore is as disturbing as ever if not more disturbing. The 3D is quite good in my opinion and it is recommended over 2D. It is hard for me to pick favourites with the Final Destination movies but I would have to put this one up there. The story is very good and fresh, adding something new to the franchise. The fact that the ones destined to die can kill another person to gain the years of life they have left. This works well into the story. From the trailers, it appears that our friend the coroner has a bigger role than in previous movies. He is in more scenes but his role hasn't really changed. Also, the opening titles were probably the best in the franchises history. It was also nice to see Emma Bell from "Frozen" in this movie. So see it if you like the Final Destination series, have fun, and do not bring your girlfriend. She will hate you.

Review: "Insidious" (2011)- written August 9, 2011

"Insidious" overall, is a good horror movie. What makes it special and different from other movies from the genre is that it is an Actual Horror movie, a True horror movie. It is based on fear and scaring you. Another thing that makes this movie quite unique for a horror film is the lack of swearing and gore. There are only, to my recolection, less than four or five swear words used. As for gore, you don't technically see anything that could qualify as gore. Violence however, is used in some of the major scenes. Also, there are some frightening images. I Highly recommend this movie to horror fans.

Review: "The Ward" (2011)- written July 21, 2011

Now this was an excellent movie, Scary and Awesome. At first it strongly resembled an episode from Season 5 of "Supernatural" called "Sam, Interrupted". This does take place in a mental institution so there were some things that seemed typical. Such as the doctors trying to 'help' are only making things worse for the patients, but let's talk about what the movie is. John Carpenter's "The Ward" has one of the scariest faces in horror. Something is attacking the patients of the ward, doctors and patients are all quiet about the disappearances. It doesn't always scare you in a typical way in fact it rarely or never does. Here is how I would describe the movie: It's like a scary ride but at the end you are given $5, then a dollar is taken away from you. Though a dollar was metaphorically lost, it is still a great movie. Now the end of the movie, and I mean the last second not just 'the end', is GREAT! It is what takes that dollar away but it is so Unique! You NEVER, EVER, see the main actress do THAT. Warning of disturbing death scenes. Have fun,...

Review: "Robot"/"Endhiran" (2010)- written July 12, 2011

I was watching a list of old Ray William Johnson =3 videos on youtube and when I got somwhere around 5 month old ones. The episode was called "Indian Action", in the video one of the 'viral videos' shown was a montage clip of this Indian action movie. Now it was only the action sequences that were shown and by American film standards, the visual effects were quite laughable, but then I watched the movie.

"Robot" is a movie where a, nevermind I don't want to describe what the movie is about, I just want to say it's awesome. It reminded me of "I,Robot"(2004) with Will Smith but if you didn't like that one, you just might like this. This movie is so amazing because of the character 'Chitti' the robot, along with the other main cast members. All of whom have great acting talent. The female lead is played by Aishwarya Rai, who also starred in "The Pink Panther 2" (as well as some other stuff).

What great thing to type about next? Well, this is an Indian film and so some song and dance have been added to this Great...Action...Drama. There are 6 total music numbers throughout the movie, basically all of which are great. Numbers 4 and 6 have this robotic element to them which can make it feel like a Black Eyed Peas video. Speaking of which, it would be impossible for anyone not to compare Aishwarya with Fergie in these sequences. The dancing parts of the film all take part in this imagined state with the two main people and the backup dancers, which is good.

Finally I will say something about the story. A scientist named Vasse finishes work on a robot he's been making for 10 years. Vasse intends his robot to be used in the military, so he is essentially superhuman. He tries to get it approved but he can't unless he can give Chitti emotions, I forget how that makes sense at the moment but whatever. Anyways, once Chitti gets emotions he starts to fall in love with his creators fiance, so to speak. That's all I'll say for now. "Robot", is definitely one of the best foreign films I have ever seen!

So now, just watch the movie and have a great time!

Review: "The Shrine" (2010) - written June 15, 2011

By definition "The Shrine" is not a bad movie, at least in mine. It isn't great, but it isn't, really, bad. There are some moments that might seem cliche or typical of the 'tourist horror' genre. The worst thing I have to say about this movie is that there is a lot of green screen, and it is easy to tell when. However the movie will surprise, not on a big scale mind you, but there will be moments where you let out a mild gasp or shriek(possibly). On the DVD case it does say something along the lines of "The ending will surprise you", which is true, only it's not the ending and it's three words. Another quote on the case says horror fans will be pleased (or something like that). In my opinion, horror fans will be mildly pleased. Gore just enters the realm of 'disturbing', but a little disturbing nonetheless, language is low to my twenty minute recollection, and nudity is brief and partial.

Review: "Scream of the Banshee"(2011)- written May 10, 2011

'Scream of the Banshee' is an amazing movie. Sure, it does have its flaws but it is still great. This movie is what I would call 'a true horror movie', not focused on gore but mainly a sense of fear throughout. Waiting for that moment you know is coming but it keeps dragging it out. Tension is throught the movie and it is just Scary. It is a real 'Scary movie', based purely on that. This movie does have some graphic scenes but it is mostly about scaring you. Frightening images, a good/not bad story. Watch it, if you're not afraid of fear. If I am to say it in a less scary logical tone, this movie will frighten you and it causes tension. This movie, like "The Fly", could cause nightmares. Make sure you want to watch this movie before you do.

Review: "The Fly" (1986)- written May 8, 2011

If this movie isn't a good one, it was at least very refreshing to watch. Other than the fact that it starts off a bit fast "The Fly" is a great movie. There is a lot of partial nudity and some swearing, along with incredible gore as one might call it. The effects are visually stunning and the story was just great. Jeff Goldblum was really great in this film. It is such an amazing sci-fi horror movie, disturbing but just great. I highly recommend it to anyone who can handle disturbing images.

Review: Frontier(s) (2007)- written April 30, 2011

Well, it's been quite a while. Anyways, about "Frontier(s)". Well it's not bad but it isn't an enjoyable experience. Another 'we're captured by crazy people' movie. Go ahead and watch it if you can't get to sleep, it just wasn't good enough that I would recommend it. Also, no clear reason as to how the title ties into the movie, at least 'Saw' was easier to 'get'. Oh yes, and there is a lot of gore or some really gory scenes.

Review: "Choose" (2011)- written April 13, 2011

Ok, back to horror. "Choose" is another movie that promisses more than it gives. The story is good/okay but sometimes the writing can be bad. It wasn't very well directed though. Scenes weren't always handled realistically and on ocassion were just stupid. Yet the worst thing was probably that the important facts flew right by and left me confused more than once. So "Choose" does go a bit fast sometimes, forgeting the audiance and just going on ahead. The choices people are forced to make are somewhat ironic but don't make you think a lot and are few. The 'Choose theory' is explained in this movie but just to the extent that the story needs. However the movie wasn't completely bad, it just wasn't done well. I won't tell you to stay away from this movie, but I don't really recommend it. Though in the back of my head I will always think: 'it was a bit good'.

Review: "Soul Surfer" (2011)- written April 10, 2011

This isn't my typical kind of movie but I was interested by the trailer. Of course a character loses an arm so I guess it's close. Anyways, it is a good movie. Heck, I'll call it Great. The synopsis just writes itself 'A surfer loses her arm in a shark attack but despite the tragedy she eventually goes on to compete in professional level surfing events'. There's just something about a one-armed girl who overcomes her 'disability' to keep on surfing, it could be the fact that I think one-armed girls are very pretty but I don't know. So the movie is mainly about trials and getting through them. Romance is kept to a minimal, gore is barely existant, and slow motion shots appear about as frequently as they do in a 'Resident Evil' movie. There is also one other thing about the movie, probably one of my favourite lines in a movie ever is in "Soul Surfer":
"I don't need easy, I just need possible". So yeah, go see it if you are interested. I do look forward to having it as a blu-ray on my shelf, once I get a new one because 62 blu-rays is a tight fit.

Review: "Season of the Witch" (2011), written April 8, 2011

So, is "Season of the Witch" a bad movie? I can't say it is, Nicholas Cage is in it but his performance certainly wasn't awful. Yeah, the storyline isn't the best and no better than good. Yet is it a terrible movie? NO. It's just an average movie, that isn't great and not bad. Though some (apparenly many) could see it as awful, being as they set their expectations a little too high. Don't avoid it because it's awful, avoid it because it isn't Great.

Review: "Rubber" (2010), written April 1, 2011

So I finally got to see "Rubber" after a long and anxious wait. I thought it would be a movie of average length and have an interesting plot, well I assumed them. However, the movie is a rather unusual one. It is only 1 hour and 18 minutes including credits and its plot is, well...strange. The movie has two plots, which made it a lot less exciting than I had hoped. I just think that if your going to make a movie with a second plot like this one, it should be given to one with less promise than "Rubber". I thought "Rubber" was going to be exciting and clever but I was very disappointed. Yet regardless of my expectations is it a good film? It's ok, artistically it's pretty good but, it's nothing amazing. However there was one thing that was very interesting, the 'special' or 'practical' effects used to make a tire roll. Now if you haven't seen any trailers, that last sentence may have been confusing. That's all I have to say about "Rubber".

Review: "Sucker Punch"(2011)- written March 25, 2011

If you walk into this movie looking for a great story, plot, and visual effects, somewhere along the line you will be sucker punched. You will love the movie then be like 'what???'. Whatever idea you are given from the trailer, the movie goes in a different direction. One good thing I can say however is that the action sequences are pretty sweet. They are pretty much the hook in the trailers and the main reason to see "Sucker Punch". Although, as great as they are...it's not an amazing movie. It's weird and isn't what you want it to be. Don't look for happy emding. I am not recommending that you stay away from this movie, I'm just saying I wouldn't recommend it. Yet if you plan on seeing it, the action is Great and Rocket is the best looking secondary character.

Review: "Blinky"(2011)- written March 21, 2011

"Blinky" is a short film directed by Ruairi Robinson. Now I haven't reviewed a short film before but this one was so good that I had to. "Blinky" is just amazing, the end is disturbing, but Amazing. All I can say is that this short is only safe for those who can deal with disturbing content. Here's a link so that you can watch it, it's over eleven minutes until the credits.

Review: "Temple Grandin"(2010) - written March 19, 2011

Now this movie is one Everyone should see. It deals with an issue that touches me personally and many many others, so it is important that I review this movie. The subject is Autism, but the movie is not about that. The movie is about a woman named Temple Grandin who has autism. It follows her life, her troubles, her revelations, and her effect on the world today. "Temple Grandin" is a true story. This movie NEEDS to be seen, and people Need to know how to treat people with autism, and their unusual actions properly. Watch this movie even if you don't know somebody with autism. The movie Really shows how autistic people sometime think, and how they are treated meanly with ignorance. A lesson to take is that EVERYONE should listen to what an autistic person has to say, because it could be for the better. Case in point, Temple Grandin. Claire Danes MUST HAVE WON AN OSCAR FOR HER PERFORMANCE. I don`t want to spend time writing about the plot because the movie is good enough that it doesn`t need a plot in a recommendation. Though if a brief synopsis is needed, here is the one I heard- It`s about the woman who invented the humane slaughter houses for cattle. Definitely one of the best movies of all time, "Temple Grandin" is better than "Rain Man" and "Forest Gump".

Two movies about autism that I would recommend, "Snow Cake" and "Mozart and the Whale".

Review: "Dream Home"(2010)- written March 19, 2011

"Dream Home" is difficult to review, in part because I did not personally enjoy it. There is plenty of gore but it is not a horror movie. Like most movies to most people it did not capture my interest in the way that its trailer did. It kept feeling like it was dragging along, in a way it was a movie completely about the troubles of finding a place to live in a bad economy so I guess that's the problem. There just wasn't the same feeling for the 'dream home' the the main character had. The motives were made clear by a few long flashbacks, but it just didn't feel right being tugged in the heart to have some feeling for the main character in a movie where the trailer insists its about that they are willing to kill people to get an apartment. By the trailer, you would think that all the financial stuff would take place at the beginning but it goes throughout the entire movie, money problems Not Being my Kind of Movie to watch. The movie has three sets of scenes; killing, flashback, and financial trouble. These scene are mixed up throughout the entire movie and the killng scenes only take up a small portion of the movie. So if you want a gore movie, you definitely will get gore but you will also get plenty more of stuff you won't care about. In short, the trailer promissed killing for an outcome, when it was really about what lead up to the killing plus an outcome.

Review: "Battle: Los Angeles"(2011)- written March 11, 2011

Not too long ago, twelve days, the Oscars happened. Now being so far away from the next Annual Academy Awards it is likely that we will forget whatever movies came out from this January to April/May. It is my hope that "Battle:Los Angeles" is not forgotten. I believe that it deserves to be recognized as a great movie. It should AT LEAST be nominated for an award. My feelings for 'at least' nominations; Best Picture, Best Visual Effects, Best Sound Mixing, Best Sound Editing, throw in a lot more, and Best Actor for Aaron Eckhart. Now to actually review the movie. A whole lot of action, a great storyline, and every event that happens is great! It is just a great movie. If anyone is familiar with the "Resistance" games on the PS3, you might find some similarities with this movie. Other than the fact that it takes place about seventy years later, it's a alien invasion on Earth and the military fights back. "Battle: LA" follows mainly several marines on a rescue mission. They encounter and fight the invading enemy. No gruesome violence, suggestive themes, and little swearing, plus one f word. One reason why I mention the "Resistance" games is for story comparison. Another is that if you keep your eyes open, you just might see a reference to the third "Resistance". On a related yet tangent note, "Skyline" reminded me a bit of those games. So yes, I recommend that you go see "Battle: Los Angeles", and play the "Resistance" games.

Review: "The Adjustment Bureau"(2011)- written March 8, 2011

Well..., yeah it's a good movie, go see it. I do recommend that you go see this movie because it is quite good. I might compare it to and maybe even call it 'this years "Inception" '. "The Adjustment Bureau" is an action movie with no guns, and a love interest at the heart of it. So it is a really good movie and a really good love story. Reason I call it a good love story is because it weighs love differently than other movies. I mean, what movie puts love up against a real danger, mind you the 'threat' in this movie is hardly real but it really put love in a different light. You would HAVE TO love a girl that gave you (I won't spoil it for you) the second time you met. As for the other side of the story, to explain it simply it's interesting. So yeah, see it.

Second Note on "Skyline"(2010)

I must comment on the amount of negativity "Skyline" is getting, too much in my opinion. I thought it was great. It did have the most interesting sci-fi kiss since "Spider-man", at least in my view. However, calling it worse than AVP:Requim was just insulting 1(as said in the official blu-ray review). Now I can't change that millions hate it (or the actual number), I just want to say that I liked it and knew when I walked out of the theatre when I saw it that I wanted to own it on blu-ray.

Review: "Sharktopus"(2010)- written March 1, 2011

An absolutely horrible movie, the trailer is so much better than the movie itself. Just awful acting and an awful script. Visual effects are okay, but that's it. It also hurts the movie a bit whenever you hear an actors accent change.

Review: 127 Hours(2010)- written February 26, 2011

Great movie, that and the following pretty much sums it up. There is something that pretty much everyone would consider to be gross, also there is a part, maybe two, that has some gore and is a little intense. By 'little intense' I mean the least intense gore can get while still being INTENSE. Very far from 'Saw' intensity but for people not used to that 'sort' of thing, they might cover their eyes anyways. Oh yeah, the movie is kind of funny too. You'll love it whenever you see a dog.

Review: "The Gravedancers" (2006)- written February 26, 2011

This film reminded me of the old fashion real horror movies. There's rarley blood, no focus on gore, just based on a story with scary and creepy moments. So was it a good movie? Yeah, I guess it was. I mean, there were points where the story was weak and there is a ridiculous part near the end. It just takes a while until the movie starts moving but once it does, it gets good. Good and creepy. I really should mention the beginning since it is one of the best openings for a movie I've ever seen. What I really liked about the movie was the scary and creepy moments. They really were well done and I liked it. A refreshing, yet very poorly made in some spots, horror film.

Review: "Waiting For Superman"(2011)- written February 23, 2011

I normally review horror movies or thrillers, but I feel that I should review this one anyways. "Waiting for Superman" is a documentary about the public school system in the United States of America. It talks about everything that affects the schools for better and worse. The film follows stories of multiple people and their endeavors to get a better education while intergrating facts, statistics, and commentaries on the subjects brought up. It is a well made documentary. Near the end you will be moved by the sadness that builds up in peoples faces, and the tears. "Waiting for Superman" is a movie that is worth watching.

Review: "Husk"(2011)- written February 21, 2011

I have not seen the short film that this movie is based on, but the trailer did get me interested. "Husk" was not a great horror movie but I also can't say that it was bad. It was a 'good' movie. It was short on violence, gore, and language. At least on tv, but still could be disturbing. The movie starts off a bit unusually and fast but that wasn't bad. The plot was decent although the back story wasn't fully explained. There were two things I liked in particular, one being that the movie takes place in one location. The other being a reference to a Bible verse with no elaboration on what it means or even says. However it does tie well into the story and would help to check it out. A good movie, see it if you're interested.

Review: "Chain Letter"(2010- written February 12, 2011

Wow, another movie about the dangers of technology. When was this made, 1999? Wow 2010. Though with the advancement does come less privacy but this is about the movie. The opening is on par with a 'Saw' movie, and that much is at least worth watching. Speaking of 'Saw', Betsy Russel(Jill Tuck) appears in this movie. The gore is also extreemly brutal. If this movie is supposed to be about the dangers of modern technology, it's failing. Some parts are just filled to the brim with stupidity and bad acting. The movie loses itself and drops its story a little while in. Despite a good trailer, it isn't a well made film. Skip it, but watch the opening for some intensity. Also, 'There Aren't Groups Of People With That Many Cell Phones, It's Ridiculous!'. Bad movie., but the ending WILL BLOW YOU AWAY, just like 'Saw'. I guess it's not all bad.

Review: "Dread"(2009)- written February 12, 2011

The trailer made the movie look promissing, and when I was watching the movie I was always waiting. Waiting for something really interesting to happen. I mean the girl with the birthmark was interesting and some of the philosophy, but nothing good came of the end. The beginning was dull and not well done. Overall, very unsatisfying. I would not recommend this film, it leaves you with a bad tastse at its conclusion.

Review: "The Roommate"(2011)- written February 7, 2011

It wasn't an overall great movie, but it was kind of fun to watch. Go see it if you are interested. Not much to say other than it has one heckuva scare. Really, I would describe it as a 'scream out loud moment'. The scare reminded me a bit of "Saw", probably the way- well I shouldn't say why. It's rated 14A so there is no nudity and little gore. Final words, 'It's just another halfway to horror movie for teens, there is no great script and the story is not excellent. However, it is not horrible.'.

P.S. I predict that movie Bob will hate the movie "Paul".

Review: "The Hamiltons"(2006)- written February 5, 2011

Now "The Hamiltons" is an interesting film. You don't know exactly what's going on until the end. So that wss the easy part of the review, anything more is just hard to write. It's a movie I can't really say anything about. One that, simply, should be watched. You may or may not think it's great but you have to see it not knowing anything. Though go ahead and watch the trailer if you want. It fits in with the horror genre because of its sexuality, language, and blood, but it isn't one with a lot of tension. Just the life of the Hamiltons.

Review: "The Final" (2010)- written January 31, 2011

"The Final" is a movie worth watching. It may not be great, but it is a horror film that has reason and philosophy to it. A bunch of high school outsiders decide to get vengeance,so to speak, on their tormenters. The plan that this group of teens come up with is quite an interesting one. However my problem with it is that the plan wasn't perfectly thought out. It would have made a better film otherwise. Now they get to prove their point somewhat but the movie wasn't overall satisfying. The focus was NOT on the Meaning, just the Situation. There are many things I wish this movie had more of; fear, tension, drama, and camera time for philosophy. I also wish that a particular character didn't have to 'escape'(it's not a spoiler), it just took more away from the film. Alas, one can only wish for a movie not so great that they wanted to be so.

Review: "Martyrs"(2008)- written January 25, 2011

Watching martyrs, I was enjoying it....for the first forty minutes(or so). I was enjoying essentially every bit of it, until they made a 90 degree turn and made it into something weird and crazy. When I say weird and crazy I suppose I really am saying I thought it was just stupid, unimportant, and had no interesting purpose. Before the end after the turn, interest started to slope downwards and I wondered how it could turn into a good movie. It failed to do so by adding a supernatural element and meaning to the film. The end made the whole movie a waste, not because there is somoething supernatural but because it was ALL about a selfish and awful motive to know something of that sort. The movie says they Make martyrs, but they torture people against their will for their own belief, which does stick to a definition but it's not something worth watching. The movie is awful because its unnesessary sadism has no interesting reason to it at all. Now the previous sentance could be said about many horror movies and has been said, but to someone who get's the point of horror movies, it applies to me.

Review: "Kill Theory"- written January 25, 2011

"Kill Theory" is a good movie, what makes it good in part is the concept of 'kill theory'. The theory that the film implies is that when a group of friends face a lethal threat, someone will be willing to kill their friends to save their own life. The movie focuses on this group of post college/university students spending the night at one guy's isolated cotage home(like-place). Later, one of the friends bodies is found with a message; "You must kill each other until there is one person left alive. If there is more than one person alive by a certain time, you will all die.". So you are left to guess which person is going to live. There are some twists, some expected and some not sot so much, which does make it a good movie. However I couldn't stop the question; Would I kill my friends to live, or die for one of them? Other than philoshophy, "Kill Theory" has plenty of gore and little nudity. I would recommend a view.

Review: "Case 39"(2010)

"Case 39" is a horror movie of high caliber. It is suspenseful, mysterious, creepy, and scary. It also puts the idea up of a 'Hell', and what yours is. Near the beginning, a little girl says she heard her parents say they were going to send her to hell. The entire movie is based on her and a woman at child services who takes care of her. All I can say is that the movie picks up and keeps running. "Case 39", in my opinion, is a thriller that will not disappoint. See it. Also..I liked the use of the girl's name, appropriate.

"Skyline"(2010)

So I apparently have to argue why this is a good movie, or why it isn't so bad.

The movie had GREAT special effects, cool and Amazing monsters/aliens, a memorable kiss, and a really Awesome ending. Maybe I am just a person that really liked it, but right now I can't see why some people think it's a bad movie. Just remember, if you are going to say that a movie IS BAD -THEN SAY WHY.

Review: "Leaves of Grass"(2009)-written January 7, 2011

If you are mature enough and able to watch movies where people get shot and swear a lot(with a scene of sexuality), then watch this movie. If you like Edward Norton then you will get twice the pleasure of watching him act in this movie, also "The Incredible Hulk"(2008). Short reveiw but reccomended.

Review: "Black Swan"(2010)

"Black Swan" is not overall a Really Good movie, but isn't a bad movie either. It is definitely fun to watch, or interesting. One could say it would give you goosebumps. The movie is kind of like a ride, waiting to see what Thing is going to happen next. These Events are what drive the story along, they are basically always scary but nothing is ever Truly revealed that makes Everything complete. There is plenty of sexual content which Only refrains from showing Actual nudity. As for gore, it can get disturbing but is very limited and isn't focused on as much as sex. Our main charecter goes through a lot in this movie particuarially at the hands of her Annoying,Controlling,OBSESIVE mother, who I`m sure you will learn to hate(eventually). "Black Swan" is a movie I would recommend to watch because it is a great thriller.
